In the archipelago in the 16th century, three centuries after the collapse of Srivijaya, small kingdoms emerged that were fighting for power. Kedatuan Bukit Jerai, is a small kingdom led by Dapunta Hyang Jaya Nasa with his queen Kalimanyang. They have two sons, Awang Kencana and Purnama Kelana.
