Beautiful Pain Gala Premiere: Dapur Film Highlights Women’s Struggle Against Toxic Relationships
Dapur Film’s Beautiful Pain explores a woman’s struggle to escape a toxic marriage, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. Starring Raihaanun as Niken and Baim Wong as Dirga, the film follows a mother’s fight to rebuild her life and secure a better future for her children.
Executive producer Nikita Mirzani said the film was born out of her desire to give women a voice through cinema. The story was further developed with producer Hanung Bramantyo, director Dmaz Brodjonegoro, and screenwriter Titien Wattimena.
The gala premiere of Beautiful Pain was held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Epicentrum XXI in Jakarta. The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release in Indonesia on October 22, 2026.
